K2 recoils vs line chronics

Here's my problem, I'm going to Colorado in about and month and going to demo some skis and possibly buy them. But I cant decide what skis to get. I live in the Midwest and ski 50% park and 50% all mountain. I think I will get more into the park a little later because there is only so much you can do on the runs.
If you have skied on the k2 iron maiden/recoil or 2013 chronics or know about them, please post your opinion asap.

I have the recoils and so far they've been my favorite pair of skis. They rip the mountain, are really stable at speed, and the early rise helps you through the turns but also makes them playful. As for park, they are stable on jumps but still fairly light. The ski has been one of the most durable I have owned. No complaints so far.
I think the chronics and the recoil will be fairly similar as theyre both a stiff, 90ish underfoot, early rise all mountain/park ski. Some of my friends have the chronic and they say very similar things about them. So you can't go wrong with either.

chronics are not stiff at all idk where you got that. My friend has recoils, well had. this would have been his second season on them and he snapped them just last weekend. personally i would go with the chronics. my friend has chronics and says they're the best ski he has ever owned and i think the chronics overall are just better made. chronics are soft and playful and i really like that in a ski also they are fat enough to ski new snow when you're mountain gets snow. not to say that the recoils are not made well or are not a good ski i would go with chronics, just my input.

I own 2013 chronics and I love the way they ride super playful for jumps and rails, stiff enough so you dont wash out all the time but buttery enough to handle butters and stuff. I have the top sheet durability to be less than what I expected, but if your riding 50/50 that shouldnt be a problem.

Chronics are a good bit softer than Recoils in the Tip/Tail. I've spent a decent amount of time on both skis and I prefer the Recoil despite the fact I normally prefer soft skis. It feels way better all over the mountain than the Chronic. I might prefer the chronic for pure park but for a mix I'd definitely take the Recoil.

I will probably demo the chronics but does anyone else have any other skis in mind.
