both are good.. halos are quicker turning and are very light which makes them easy on rails. the tc is wider, a bit softer and butter easily. two different personalities of skis. both good in their own way.

Never used the Halos, but I love my TC's. Light, playful, and fairly inexpensive.

TC skis are essentially the Anthems, and I would venture to say the Anthem was/is the best park/jib ski Line has made.
.....Halos are good too, when you narrow it down to two skis and ask for NS's opinion, its gonna be individuals opinnions, theres no "good" or right/wrong answer. The only way you will know for sure is to demo before you buy.

This. There are going to be very few people who have actually used both skis and will give you an objective, unbiased evaluation.

Yeah well my TCs are super fun to ride, and are very (obviously) buttery. I remember riding your halos are they feel stiff

Tc. That extra width feels good in the park and the halos ski extremely short.

I have skied both for a few runs, and they are both fun skis. The TC's are very soft, and fun to ski, but they almost felt a little floppy. The halos feel stiffer, but have a lot of pop. The short turn radius makes them difficult to ride outside of the park, but if you are not leaving the park I would go with halos. If you want a ski for outside of the park a little more I would go with the TC's because they were more fun to ski outside of the park.

I'm in the park almost always because you cant ski anything else in my home mountain. i wonder witch ones are better for rails and switch ups on rails?

Halos/alphas probably have the lowest swing weight of any park ski on the market. Makes switch ups and spinning effortless! For park this ski is the jam!!

Cant speak for TC but IMHO...Alpha 1s! Had halos...had a major binder pullout and armada didn't have any left, so they have me the alpha 1...I'm a bigger guy so I didn't mind...you can hit any jump with confidence and still get it done on boxes/rails....oh yeah and they're definitely faster...the race base sounds like a hoax, but it's definitely for real. Ps you do have to wax them more often...

the halo is tight as balls, got a friend who skis the tc says they are fun, but the halos just get it done, the rocker in the powder is surprisingly powerful, and switch skiing is responsive and easy, the pop makes urban your bitch and you get down.

If you're looking for a PARK only ski. (Volkl Walls), if you want a all around jibbing ski get the TC ski (disguised Anthems)
All times are Eastern (-5)
