what i've heard is Heavenlys not the place of 'big Mountian' type stuff...I guess you want to go to Kirkwood for that. Heavenlys the park resort...

fo sheezy, the heave is a massive resort a la vail...check out the woody for some gnar terrain, or go up to the north shore and check out squaw

ok, take milkey way bowl from the top...that will get you to motts canyon and that is about as bigmountain as you will get. theres a lot of different chutes and tree stuff over there and it is pretty short.

They are short, but fun for somebody coming from western ny. I was there in late february and they hadn't gotten significant snow for weeks until a few days before I was there, so they were a bit icy and rocky. The cool thing about heavenly was the trees though. definitely try to get to squaw or maybe kirkwood or alpine meadows for some more challenging stuff.

I love the chutes in Killebrew. They aren't that short! my favorite are probably Ramarrah's, the Fingers, and Stateline.
