Armada El Reys.. durability, what binding, where to mount?

I am looking to get some El Reys for next year. I need a cheap ski, and I was thinking this or surface no times..
I will be in the park 90% of the time.
How are they for durability, park, etc?
Also, what binding should I get.
I don't know much about skis, I just ride them.
I also need a cheap bindings up to lets say about a din of 12.
I am 6' 0" and weigh 130.
I would say intermediate to advanced.
Also, where would I mount them.. center? even though armada recommends you don't, would they be okay like that?

Id say go with the marker squire theyre the griffons little brother and are great for lighter skiers

For a cheap binding I would say a head mojo they are super light because of plastic construction. Since the el ray is cap it will have more durable sides than other skis but that's all I really know about them

don't get squires, they suck. get the salomon sth 12 binding. it's a decent binding and not to expensive. as for durability of the el reys, i'm not sure about that. never had a pair of armada's, but everyone says that there really good so i'm sure the durability will be fine.

ive heard the El Rey's are good, and for bindings get some look px12, i got some and they are great other then the fact that they are dildos

i got elreys mounted dead center with sth 14s, love em, they are a stiff ski, i would say they're pretty durable so far, nothing has happend to them yet

My friend rode his for a year and the entire edge on the ski just ripped right out they are a jump ski not great for rails, I have no times which are just as bad to be honest but they are light af so no matter which one they aren't going to last you forever

Get el reys, Not sure whats recommended for mounting (call Armada, they made the ski). A 12 din from last years will cost the same as a 10 or 11 din from this year. go with marker griffon, rossi axial, salomon sth 12 for bindings.

Don't get Marker if you are planning to ride hard. The only marker binding worth your time really is the Jester and for that binding you have to dip in your wallet to get that puppy.

I'd say any tyrollia binding should do you great. I'm a proud owner of them year after year and they have yet to let me down.


Tyrollia owns all Deadbolt, Peak, and all the other similar bindings.

Funny, I absolutely hated my STH 12's. Way too heavy and very minimal durability. I've heard nothing but bad things about the squires too, apart from their lightness. I'd say shop around for a pair of bindings. I'm riding a pair of rossi junior 9-9-din bindings and I honestly love them, and they work for me. You can find something you like almost anywhere.
