Looking for a beginner park ski

Hey everyone, so basicly im new at park, but can do the basics on rails and jumps. and im getting a new pair of skis for christmas. Now i have a quite hard time choosing which ones. I have been skiing since i was 3, although im a "once a year'er", because i live in demark and there are no mountains here. but the past few years, we have been going twice a year and im going to a fair bit more next year. Im really good on-piste like black,reds whatever, i can ski anything and i can also do a fair amount of Off-pist.

So i have been looking at a few different skis and those are:

Atomic Punx - a little bit soft, which is good because i want to start learning butters, a bit on the narrow side
Armada Elrey - Pretty cheap ski and pretty stiff, although would be more stable on pist, when not in the park
Line Chronic - Little stiff and wider, which is good because i love shredding the occasional powder whenever there is a storm or just new snow
Armada ARV - Wider like the chronic, but soft like the Punx, could be a choice aswell.

I am about 5'5" and weigh about 112lbs.

Oh, and also which bindings would you guys recommend? Im kind of a noob on this topic.

For skis i would say anything in the 161 to 170 length for your size and it seems you may still be growing.

I would say Punx or Chronics, although the two will act pretty different. The Chronics are what you will want for a good park ski that slays all over, and the Punx are a pretty park specific ski but will ski alright all mountain. The Chronics will provide much more float than than the Punx in powder.

Now with bindings I would say either get Marker Jesters/Griffons, Look/Pivot bindings, Rossignol FKS bindings, or Salomon sth bindings.

With bindings, for your size I would look at bindings in the 12 to 14 din range, as it will be nearly impossible for you to need a higher din binding, and you are just starting out so the lower din bindings are a bit cheaper.

**Do not get Marker Squire's or Free Ten's, they were not meant for serious park use and will blow up.

Sorry for double post, but also if you buy a better binding, you will be able to take it off and mount it onto another pair of skis you get in the future. I am on my 4th year and 3rd pair of skis with my Marker Jester Schizo's. I would not really cheap out on bindings.

If your a more beginner to park than the punx, chronics, and armadas may not be what you need. I tend to see many people start out with line masterminds though as they're more of a "beginner ski." They're a low budget ski for someone looking into park and starting off.

Well, money is not really much of a problem as i will be paying some myself and some of it will be included as a christmas present, but thanks for the input! Im considering the Chronics more and more and next years looks pretty sick.

This is very true. It is also notable that a good park ski will hold up better durability wise than masterminds will, and they will definitely outperform masterminds. It never hurts to have a ski that is better made and constructed. Also I would suggest getting the Chronics during a sale in size 164 when there is a sale. It is unlikely they will sell out of that size any time soon, and you will save a lot of money buying this years ski opposed to next years.

Ill see how much i grow until christmas, there is still a pretty long time until that. And i like my ski just about as tall as myself so if im like 168cm for christmas, ill buy the 171 chronic. Also 1 thing to note is that my brother, who is 24 years old, his skis are 171 and he is about 179 cm tall, but he has had them for about 3-4 years now, so he should get some a little longer(idk?) but thats a pretty good sign that i should buy that length, so i dont outgrow them too fast
