I love houses. I play a game when I'm driving somewhere, I look for hidden mansions in the hills (I live in a valley) and try to figure out how to get to them.

Here's my buddies dad's house. I've only been there a couple times but it's fucking awesome. Can't really party there but he lets him have some people over once in a while and hang out and stuff.

Wow people dream big with houses. I just want a log cabin with a pellet stove and chinking that has been done right. Also want a yard with grass and a area for gardening with lots of sun.

i like it. that canopy can be made into something more useful, maybe an attic type of thing. or just have a huge hammock under there
the one where you look out to a vineyard looks so amazing, although i don't even know what the house looks like.

If I'm ever back at my old highschool I'll see if I can snap a pic of my model house I had to make in drafting, Absolutely had a blast designing a few houses back then. The model was a nice little cabin house with an angled garage. One of my lady friends designed a house that would have made a banger mountain house aswell.

never understood the desire to have a mansion or huge house unless you're having hundreds of guests over every weekend, i feel like there would just be so much unnecessary unused space. I could be content with a trailer and my own private land with a bunch of toys and a good location. Also your family is closer to each other, and you don't have to use a cell phone to tell your family dinner is ready.

I want a really nice apartment/condo that is in a great location, with a great view. It doesn't have to be gigantic, I would just like it to be in a great spot with a really nice setup and design so I can simply lock the door and travel. I don't want a huge house that needs like 2 furnaces and 3 heaters to sustain it, I'd rather spend the money on travelling.

I have a few variations of my dream house drawn. Can't find any of the drawings right now, so I'll sum it up:

- Location is key. In the mountains. Depending on how my life turns out to be, either BC or northern Sweden, close to where I am right now. The Alps are sick, and I'd love an apartment there, but not sure about full time living.
- No driving should be necessary to get out into the wilderness.
- Sauna. No explanation needed.
- Garage. Underground. I like cars. And sleds.
- Big, but not too big, open space with big windows, that would be the main area. With kitchen and fireplace.
- Balcony for après and morning coffee.

That's about it. Can't be too big, and it will be shaped with skiing in mind. Meaning you'll be able to ski on it.
