Am I screwed?

So I left my check in my sweater and washed it by accident and its literally destroyed I'm not so mad cause I only worked one day and it was for $41 but when a check is destroyed as much as mine is what can I do? Cause you can still somewhat see my name and you can still tell it says $41 but its also ripped in half is it cashable or can my manager do anything about it?

Tell your manager what happened and even show the evidence if needed and then have them write a new one.

Leave him alone, I'm positive he was wiped out from earning that $41 all in the same week.

Well my boss is Chinese as fuck so I try not to associate my self with him a lot cause trying to communicate with him is the hardest thing ever.
