Ill add onto this...
JIBS: land under foot
-kinks: if going from down to flat, push your forward foot outward and angled so you can hit the change without falling on your face.
-if going on a down rail, tilt your front foot at an angle so that your momentum going sideways is stop when your foot hits the rail and you dont just jump over the rail
-NEVER LOOK AT YOUR FEET!
-As for going non dominant, i.e. unnatural, be aggressive. again dont look at your feet. Practice jumping 90 degrees and keeping balanced while stationary on snow.
-jump with both feet onto the rail and jump off the rail at the end as it looks much better
-try a 270 onto flat boxes first and stay balanced all the way through
-for spins off, dont look at your feet and angle your front foot to push off the rail and initiate the spin. for some reason, when you start to turn your shoulders in the direction of the spin, your feet angle the right way. Practice this off a flat rail or tube
-when hitting features switch, point your back ski at the feature to remain in the right spot.
-if you flair your arms, try grabbing both sides of your coat. This helps you to use your feet instead of using all of your upper body to spin
JUMPS: start off by trying to cross your skis by putting your feet on top of each other
-bend your knees and bring your skis up to you, dont reach for them
-my rule for any jump is to straight air it first to get the speed down, then spin it every time afterwards or you wont do it again
-also if you do skip a jump in a set, odds are you will keep skipping it.
-keeping your self balanced and jumping off both feet will make your spins much better.
-as for jumping with one foot, if you stand on the floor and jump and do a spin, do you jump with one foot? no, just practice at your house or where you are staying to stay balanced.
-make sure you do pop at the very end of the jump and open up your legs a little wider before you pop
-practice going down easy trails switch with your legs staggered and switch between loo
king over both shoulders. As for going over jumps start with switch 1's and work your way up. DONT PRE-SPIN
-if you want to spin right and left, just do everything you do for going left but just mirror it. It seems weird, but you get used to it with repetition.
-dont flair your arms stay tucked up so you dont look like a gaper
My coach says theres two main things you need to do to do well: "Go fast and dont be a pussy"
Thats all i can think of at the top of my head
