Goggles Fogging

I keep having this really anoying problem that my goggles keep fogging. I just recently bought crowbars and they are constatly foggy. i will take them in for lunch in the lodge and dry them out so they are nice and un-foggy, then when i go back out they just fog up. I dont rock a facemask so im not breathing up on the lenses. can someone please help me with this anoying issue. ive used the goggs 6 tiimes now and everytime it happens.

When you dried them, you could have unintentionally tampered with the anti-fog coating on the inside of the lens. This could have happened from excessive whiping and things alike. Also, try opening the vents and pick up some speed. Airflow is another thing that greatly helps eliminate fog.

My Crowbars fog a little when I'm riding the lift or standing around on the mountain. Pretty much goes away the second I start moving. I think a lot of goggles fog if you're not moving. I know my Smith's I use for snowmobiling will fog unless I'm moving.

Otherwise if they are still fogging, it could be a lens issue.

Are you sweating at all? Because that will make them fog up real quick. Also try drying them out overnight, take them out of your ski bag or whatever.

From what I've heard when the anti fog stuff comes off there isn't much you can do about it. Don't use CatCrap, that'll just make it worse. Use the cleaning cloth (or goggle case if it's that microfiber or whatever) to wipe off the fog whenever necessary. With your next pair make sure to never touch the inside of the lens, don't let water get in it, and if it does, just blowdry it or let it sit, don't rub it.

I bought an anti-fog cloth that comes with some wierd anti-fog formula which works by wiping the cloth on the goggle lens creating a layer of anti-fog coating. It worked for me really well, but if not, it might just be your sweat/heat comming out of your head so maybe it could be the helmet venting and not the goggles.
