2010 or older Surface ______time/life with marker squires. I think surface has honestly stepped up their game as of late.

I had 08/09 Live Life 2's until this Christmas. Bombproof skis. My brother tours on them now with Baron's. I've never heard anything bad said about them.

Its clear nobody on here has ever ridden punter spec rentals with rental bindings on them.  Thats not so much a bad ski as an experience that inputs fear like no other into you.

So a "park" ski an only be skied in the park?

It's a relatively light weight ski(good for touring), with a little rocker in the tips/tails(good for touring), with some taper(also can be good for touring).

Looks like the Alpha 1 would be a decent east-coast touring ski, just like an S3 is a popular choice.

Seriously though Marker M1000 on anything or Line reactors as stated above on anything will be the worst set up no matter what the ski is.

Dynafits on short parks skis...

Any tech binding on a park ski when the person has an alpine boot...
