El Ray vs. No Time

im looking for a cheap durable park ski that i can also ride all mtn. if need be.

(90/10) park all mtn

i currently have the line TC skis and they're a little too soft for my liking

im 5'11'' bout 162

The El Rey is more of a price point ski, and I haven't heard much about them besides that.

Don't get No Times, they aren't very durable. (Surface skis have a reputation for snapping.)

Supposively they have fixed the snapping. So take that into consideration

Th El Reys would be a perfect ski to compliment the Anthems in your quiver, I rode the 178 Reys for 2 1/2 seasons & loved them. They are fairly stiff (I weigh a good 20 lbs more than you), but really lively...especially after you break them in. They are also super light for their dimensions.

I also had the 2011 No Times for well, 10 days until they snapped. Idk if they've worked out the kinks, but I'd go with the Reys imo.

also go el  reys for the fact that the no times are quite a buttery ski

i picked up some of last year's el reys as said above very stiff, but they'll be super nice once they're broken in, i love em have'nt broken them in yet thou, love the pop i get outta them

putting the TC's at a 5/10 flex

Why not get an AR7 instead of El Ray. I believe it will perform better than the El Ray but it may be a little heavier but probably more durable.

If you're looking at surface, the double time is their other park ski that's much stiffer than the no time. Just something to think about.

The el ray and the one time are around the same price (low-mid 300)
