Im looking for a rig to film skiing on and i was wondering if anyone has tried a shoulder rig?

Haven't tried it but i don't imagine it would work well. Maybe better than handheld but it wouldn't give any stabilization really. Get a glidecam.

i personally dont like the look the like glidecam creates i prefer a more handheld look

how the hell would something resting on your shoulders and held by your hands in front of you not give stabilization? it'll be 1000x better than handheld. there's a reason these things are so popular for run and gun shooting.
