dont bitch out or youll land on your head. go straight into the jump, !!!POP!!!(important), throw your head, hands, and upper body back (dont bitch out or youll land on your head), open your hips, spot your landing, bring your legs down, stomp.
I landed my first backie last weekend, it's really not that hard... If you can build a jump into powder and just fully commit and you'll stomp it! Knees bent, pop hard, tilt your head and tuck. If you can do backflips on the trampoline you can pretty much do them on skis, commitment is the key and don't think you might fall, don't say you might bail think your stomping that shit!! Goodluck man, post up a video when you try it (:
if you already got backs on a tramp down and youre going to commit, just make sure you dont go too early (thats what she said). but really, pop so your head doesnt hit the lip
Do not try to sling it. You dont want to lean your head back that much, keep it in and look back with your eyes at the end of the jump, jump up and drive your knees into your chest and make sure you stay tucked until you spot your landing. Spread out your legs and stomp it like nothing happened. I would try it onto an airbag first before you bring it to snow. Dont pussy out or you will snap yo neck
I would try it on a jump without a knuckle -- like it just goes straight into a downslope. That way the odds of you under rotating and catching your tips is exponentially decreased.
