And I can't find a great picture for a rodeo, but you can see in that picture^^^ that the guy is parallel with the flat ground below him. If it was a rodeo, he would be upside down in the middle of the sequence.
If your head goes below your feet on a horizontal plane, then it's a rodeo. If not, then it's a flatspin. Most people don't do TRUE flatspins, because they're harder to throw than ones that are a little inverted.
