a couple of weeks ago a spiders egg hatched somewhere in my bathroom. i was pretty disgusted by this until i began looking at all the little spiders crawling around (there weren't that many of them actually, not the 100 that had i heard there should be on average) and i realized that in general baby whatever of any species are harmless... and at the risk of sounding like a nerd, kind of cute. then i realized that despite the foul odor that characterizes my bathroom, it wasn't exactly swarming with insects to eat. but then i thought, those little bastards couldn't eat an insect if they wanted to, they're too small. then still standing there and pondering, i wondered, what the fuck do baby spiders eat then? they have to get bigger to trap anything substantial in their webs, and to get bigger they have to eat...so what the fuck do they eat? any zoologists or avid zoobooks readers out there that know?
