anybody have any good resources on how to do this? i'm looking to get lightroom and premiere, but cant afford them. everytime i download them on torrents, it just ends up being a trial and not the full version, and torrents are pretty sketch on my school network, even with peerblock. ive heard people can generate keys for the trials and that works, but ive been unsucessful so far. any help
download the trial directly from adobe. get the master collection and do everything at once (after effects, photoshop, illustrator will be useful down the road)
then search adobe block activation (mac/pc) and you'll get the steps to block adobe products from phoning home aka reporting your serial
last is to search/download the patches for each program, most have apps you just run and it does the patching for you, or very straight forward directions. these usually have a serial too, so you should be good!
bumping this. I copied a crack file for cs6 into the frameworks, but it won't work properly. It's causing premiere pro to freeze and quit literally every time i click a dropdown menu, wondering if anyone had a working crack file they could pm me or share here.
Meh, classic devils advocate. The people who pirate adobe software don't make money using their products. There may be a few small anomalies but I guarantee every big ski/snowboard film company that makes money owns their software. Hell even I pay for premiere, but thats because I started making money and realized that owning a product (i use CC so "own") can be very convenient and hassle free.
Now should every kid with a t2i go out and license adobe software? That's their choice whether they want to or not, but nothing is going to happen if they don't pay for software to make edits of their friends skiing.
I'm not sure who the fstop article was aimed towards but dudes who get a free ticket to go to a concert to shoot a whole gallery of photos probably aren't on the highest end of the totem pole and probably work shit jobs so they can buy their equipment.
I think the article is very skewed, its trying to exaggerate the facts. People who pirate adobe products would never buy them in the first place and adobe knows this. Adobe knows that these up and comer photographers/videographers will use their program over something free like wmm and imovie. If these guys don't become successful, who cares? They'd still never buy the product. But, if they do become successful, they will eventually make money and buy the software (or their company they work for will own the software, etc)
Adobe isn't stupid, there is a reason why their software is so easy to crack. This may seem slightly far fetched but I wouldn't be surprised if Adobe wants young broke artists to pirate their program so in the future, when they are making money and depend on Adobe products, they will eventually buy the programs. Simple theory, it makes sense because if Adobe really wanted to stop people from pirating their software, they could probably fix it with a casual update, all they have to do is change some code and restrictions.
Anyway, I'm done ranting. If someone wants to pirate Adobe software, figure it out on you own, its not that hard. I think a 15 year old kid paying for adobe premiere to make gopro edits of his friends is just silly, not worth it IMO.
Given that "Hollywood" sued TPB, who weren't even the ones who commited any crimes, for simply 6 million $ in lost revenue, and given that photoshop is apparently the most pirated program in the world, I'm willing to bet they're "losing" upwards of hundreds of millions, and that's being conservative.
