Lately I have been hearing this word used by almost all my friends around the Calgary area. Im not sure if this is just my town or if anyone else hears this word constantly being used.

Example:

Hey man, yoss me that ball

Wanna yoss me some of that sandwich?

Not sure if it pisses me off or not

The fuck is the point of that? Toss is so much easier to say in the first place plus there is absolutely no reasoning or meaning/shortening to yoss. If I hear someone say that I'm going to slap them until their future spouse starts bleeding.
