6'0", 185lb male skier. I ski 90% park, 10% groomers, east coast. In the park, I'm balanced between jumps and rails. My skill level is beginner- I can slide rails and hit jumps of all sizes, switch out, front 270, 180 on kickers and I'm working on my 3s and backflips.
I currently have 162 2010-2011 Nordica Dead Moneys. I'm pretty sure they're too short for me, they wobble at speed, and I just don't feel in love with them.
All of that being said, I'm looking to pick up a pair of either Armada T Halls or Line Chronics. I grew up as a groomer ripper, so I definitely appreciate ability to hold an edge. That being said, my skiing priority is progressing in park and pushing myself that way.
I can get the T Halls in 176 or 181 for $330 or the Chronics in 178 or 185 for $410 or so. I'd prefer to save as much as possible, but you can't put a price on a good pair of skis. I'd also be willing to consider Armada Alpha 1s, as I can get those for a good price too.
Thoughts?
Thanks a bunch, NS.
