Replying to Adjusting Line Reactors
I just bought a pair of Reactor 12's, and it seems that for liability reasons the technical details on how to properly adjust them is info that only dealers are privy to through the TOP SECRET Line Technical Manual.
My question is this:
I know how to set sole length, DIN for my weight and ability, and even the how to use the rudimentary forward pressure indicator. My only questions are on how to set toe height and toe width.
Toe Height: Boot sole just barely NOT touching the toe pressure plate?
Toe Width: No idea. I cant tell as though the toe width adjustment screws are making any change the little wings.
Any technical information is appreciated. I am an engineer and I can't in good conscience pay more money to have the ski shop monkeys adjust these. It was bad enough I paid them to mount the Freedom plates. They wouldn't even let me watch them do that(I just want to learn) for 'liability reasons.' I have rebuilt airplane engines, so let me adjust my own ski bindings.
