Yesterday I overrotated a 540 on a ~25 foot jump, landed around 630, caught my left (downhill) edge, and slammed the whole left side of my body hard into the landing. My side has consistently hurt pretty badly since my fall, a sharp jabbing pain in my side whenever I move the wrong way, breathe too deeply, cough, laugh, etc. I thought it was a cracked rib (doesn't hurt quite bad enough to be broken), but there are some inconsistencies in the symptoms. It hurts in all the movements that should make a cracked rib hurt, but direct pressure isn't that bad at all. Also, when it starts to hurt, I can usually just relax through the pain and it goes away. There's also hardly any swelling and no discoloration. Is it possible that I pulled or tore one of the little muscles in between my ribs? I'll probably be seeing a doctor if it stays bad/gets worse, but do you guys have any idea what this might be? Thanks a ton.
