Anyone ski up there at that time? How good is the skiing in march and April? From CT to CA. Give me some advice. My buddies have a house like a mile from heavenly.

if the house is a mile from heavenly then he is south lake ^.... the conditions will all depend on how much snow fall we get though. I think it's too unpredictable

Pete is currently sulking around Mt. Hood, shooting with Poor Boyz Productions and hitting on Kristi Leskinen. She hates guys, Pete lamented, so it’s not going good. Apparently Canada isn’t the only thing that’s tough for Pete to get into.

Hey cool I'm doing the same thing. Moving from Idaho right after Christmas. March and April are great for skiing because of Tahoe's big snowpack. You can ski til May most eyars. The spring months are great for skiing the park and they usually get some fresh in March so there's an oppurtunity to get some powder in too. I'm moving to North Lake, going to ski Northstar and Alpine.

anewmorning, Northstar's go the best park in Tahoe. But yeah the terrain sucks. That's why I got the Northstar/Sierra pass and the Alpine pass.

i will grant that they had some kind of bezerk rails set up when i went last year... but in the name of jumps... alpine has some MONSTERS at the end of last year. they killed the northstar kickers. and no one touches squaws pipe, in my experience... steep and smooth.

Northstar for rails/boxes.
Squaw for tables & pipe.

Northstar got a new pipe cutter at the end of last year and Transworld rated them in the top 10 pipes in North America, above Squaw. So hopefully it will be really good this year. Also they are moving the park to a different run than the one it was on last season so it should be even better this year.

Northstar is supposedly gonna be doing a better job with there tables this year...makin em bigger and better. They do have the best jib line in tahoe though, as said. And they have a shitload of new rails this year.
Alpine/Kirkwood/Squaw for big mountain.
My personal fav is alpine because I grew up skiing their and thats where I always get my pass.

that is quite jibtastic, sir.
'skiboards look horrible on rails, they do however looking amazing over 15 foot tables.'

thanks i rip the whole mountain I hit the park for like an hour on anverage 6 hour day. I just want to ski where I can go sick and have less of a chance of breaking my back on ice. I'm stoked cant wait to get their.
