I am so frustrated with the downright inability of other teams to beat Texas when I need them too.
3 straight walkoff wins over the god damn angels who are the most useless team ever, and then Arizona continues showing why the NL west is pathetic as hell.
You know it's cool and all that the Pirates are doing phenomenal this season, but I can't get a god damn seat in the stadium to save my life. I've gone to three games so far but the past couple seasons I usually get to go to 5 or 6 and being from Ohio that's not bad.
it was kindof pussy. he cant get hit back. and the stupid ump should have thrown him out right away, all he did was disable the yankees from retaliating like they should be allowed to.
Have to say I disagree, if there's a pussy in the situation it's either the ump or Girardi. I thought it was fantastic that Dempster threw at ARod, he's the biggest scumbag in the MLB (maybe only 2nd to Braun) and shouldn't be playing right now. Dempster should've been tossed right away, but the ump either didn't have the stomach or enjoyed it himself, or a bit of both. Joe Girardi came up with these weak "what if that was your kid" arguments, and whined to the MLB that Dempster needs a suspension after the fact. How can one bitch about someone getting suspended 5 games when he's playing ARod each and every day? Hypocrisy.
He shouldn't be considered a first time offender though. I understand why he is, since his previous PED use with the Rangers was before the rules were set into place, it just seems wrong to me that he can play by appealing his suspension and make a difference for his team.
According to MLB, he sure does. But because MLB says he can play, does everyone have to be happy about it? No.
As a citizen of whatever country you're from are you content with everything that your government does/stands for/believes in? Probably not.
Dempster doesn't have to agree with everything the MLB union decides because he is a MLB player. A lot of people aren't stoked that AROD is playing and Dempster took it into his own hands. He got slapped on the wrist for it which basically is what MLB had to do.
There is nothing pussy about what dempster did and he's not a hero for it either. He basically just told some guy to go fuck off because he didn't like what he was standing for.
Do you think a lot of yankees are stoked that AROD is playing? He's a great player yeah, but right now there is so much baggage on him that I wouldn't want him anywhere near my clubhouse.
Red Sox 5.5 games ahead in the AL East going into September...never thought I'd see that this year. And just took 2/3 against Detroit, including one against one of the best pitchers in the league, and an absolute blowout last night. I think this Red Sox team might be for real...
I just wish the NL had some tighter pennant races. There are some great teams there, but apart from Central division it's a case of domination across the board.
the Yankees aren't going to do shit... Either way, Texas/Oak or TB/Baltimore will take them out, for sure.
Also, what the fuck is with Oakland not being able to beat the fucking weakest teams all of a sudden... 8-10 against Texas, TB, and Detroit, but being shut down by the 'Stros? Bullshit.
I love seeing all the angry texas fans in the twitter and blogosphere. Making fun of the A's stadium issues? How about win something, and then talk shit.
