i wanted there to be at least one other person that thought this was a good idea. Plus to the people that are saying that they will ruin all of the trails, they will probably mostly stick to the bunny hill.

it doesn't seem like a bad idea to me. It's not like people are gonna buy these to use on groomers. People will rent them and use them on parts of the mountain I won't be on. It's the snowboarders (and skiers) who don't take lessons and don't learn how to turn who ruin the snow.

i snowboard and even i thinnk that is kinda dumb. when your learning the whole point is to learn how to controll your speed the right way, not with a fucking hand brake. i feel it would just cause bad form. dont be a pussy, learn the traditional way....

But seriously, I can't even fathom why this would be necesary; to prevent beginners from building any kind of fundamentals required to actually do the sport? Shit sucks.

I think this would be a fine idea to keep it on the bunny hill. Like you rent a snowboard like this for your first day, and it wouldn't be allowed on a chairlift. Only on a rope tow on the bunny hill.

Anywhere else on the mountain this thing would fucking FUCK THE FUCKING SHIT out of the snow.

my only thought is that, as someone who has learned to snowboard, it is much easier to keep your balance when you have speed so this could actually slow the learning curve a bit.

So that's at the tail with the concave part facing the nose. How long until somebody jams on the brake and goes flying because they stopped so suddenly? Like at a hill with barely any snow cover that could probably happen, or even somewhere with a dense enough base so it won't tear out when that thing digs itself in.

LOL Imagine going to get up on a box and you dont have hand the leash attatched so the break just kinda going free... get on the box and the brake drops as your tail is hanging off the back, then you get it caught at the front of the box and blow out both your knees due to sudden stop. www.whocanisue.com

for some people the entire hill is the bunny hill.
