Dalbello il moro boots?

Shin bang depends mostly on fit, and less so on the design of the boot. Go with what fit YOU best.

I have tried it on and it fits very will, but so do Full tilts, SPKs and half the other boots out there. I just want to know the performance end of them, not if they fit me well.

Go to a boot fitter. All of the boots will feel comfy in the store, and if you think both full tilts and spks fit you nice, you clearly haven't gone to one.

SPK's and full tilts are complete polar opposites in terms of fit, so no offense, but I really doubt both of those boots fit you properly.

^this exactly, which boots did the bootfitter recomend. He should have advised you to try no more then 3 differnt boots. He definatly should not just let you try anything on. If thats the case find an actually bootfitter, as who you have seen so far certainly is not a boot fitter.

Also to add, boots should not be too comfy when tryinmg them on in the shop. The comfort comes from footbeds, shell work, liner molding and bedding the boots in. If they are comfy without any of tht, chances are they are too big. Boots should be very snug in the shop and also feel like a size to small.

to everyone saying "go to a bootfitter" I have, and I was planning on getting some FT drop kicks, but The fit of a 4 buckle, 2 piece Head "freestyle" boot fit better. I have lifts, shivs, extra footbeds, orthodics, fitted heel pockets, and blown out lateral sides. I got the boot that best fit me and I have one of the best bootfitters in the East. I did not go to a bootfitter to try on the SPKs, simply because the shop was closing and I wanted to see how it fit and they felt great. more of a fit than most boots that I have tried on, but very comprable to FT. I am not lying either. I want the best boot I can find that WORKS FOR ME. I have tried on Nordica-didnt fit, toebox was wide too far down the foot for me and the heel somehow felt poorly secured. I tried on FT and it was my second choice, but it was at a different shop and It felt great, but it didnt change flex without buying a new tongue/not as many personalized fit options as the Head boot. I tried on the Dalbello all mountain boot that was the closest thing to the il moro that was in stock, and it felt great (but the shop wasnt ordering the freestyle version, which did have a shock absorbing footbed, trekker buckle, etc) but it was still different from the il moro. I tried on some of those Hot pink Rossi boots and those were some of the most uncomfortable boots I have ever tried. I know how to get a boot, I am not going to make my decision on what I want, but I eventually went to the boston ski expo and went to the dalbello booth. I tried on the il moro and it was the best fit I have ever had, and I only had time to talk a little to the guy and he said out of all the boots, that would be the best for me.

To everyone saying if you are comfortable in a SPK, you won't be comfortable in a Full Tilt, false. I had a pair of SPK Kreations for 3+ years, and just switched to Drop Kicks, the only part of my boot that makes me uncomfortable, is the sole, I have very flat feet, so basically any shoe on me feels rough, and the stiffness and rigidity of a ski boot only makes it worse for the first 1-2 hours I'm skiing.

thank you. some of these people just try to act like they know what they are talking about. and yes dalbello liners are a special version of the Intuition liners that FT has, but better. They are made to be denser and instead of Intuition sending pre-molded liners, Dalbello just gets a sheet of the foam and makes it to their standards.

No one said that they won't fit, but they are very different boots, so one won't be quite as effective as the other. If you are competing spks to boosters, you'll find more similarities in the last, as opposed to a classic. They are more talking about the pure specs of a boot. It's the same as any shoe can fit you, it just may not be the best for you, don't knock their credibility either, they are all reliable sources.

you might be able to stick your foot into an spk but that doesnt mean it fits good. dont give people terrible advice

Never heard of any problems, I would say go for it if they fit you. Dalbello makes good boots.

I have il moro boots and they are fine. If they fit you should buy them.

il moros are great boots IF THEY FIT!

i took the cuff off mine and replaced it with a normal krypton pro cuff because i didn't like the park-trekker buckle idea.

any idea where to get them? cuz i couldnt find any online shops that still had them in stock in my size

At this point, probably not. Another idea would be to grab a pir of Rampages. They have the same fit as the Il Moro at a lower price but you don't have the park-trekker buckle. imho, you're better off without the park-trekker anyway. Henshaw and Goepper swapped out the cuffs on theirs too.

Is it hard to swap the cuff?
