Windows 8 64x IE Issues?

Anyone else having issues with posting in the forums?

I'm on a Sony Vaio laptop with Win 8 64x. I can post fine from the desktop option through Firefox, the one that "mimics" the old Start screen. But when I try and post from the new tile layout IE app, it doesn't work. I can't even write in the box and all the buttons on top (Bold, Italic, etc) don't load.

This isn't a big deal at all, as I can still post through Firefox and the rest of the site operates perfectly. This could have been addressed, I've been away for about a month and a half traveling. Just curious if anyone else this sort of problem?

if you turn off Fancy GUI Editor in Account Settings does it still not work? I don;t know why you'd want to use IE when you have Firefox though.

but it's probably just a compatibility issue. It does say right at the Fancy GUI thing This will work on most browsers, so enable it and experiment! (Known to work on: Mozilla 1.3+, FireFox 0.7+, IE 4, 5 & 6, Safari 2.01+)

Yea, it works then actually. Obvious fix. Durr.

Oh, I'd always rather work in Firefox, but I've just been playing around with and trying to figure out Win 8 and trying to work with the new IE to get a feel for it.
