Heading to SF tomorrow night for one and super stoked for it. Anyone been? If you hate EDM or don't like these guys, then good for you. Looking to get some stoke/advice from fellow concert goers.
Hell yea guys. I am so fucking pumped. From listening to their live sets, seeing their light show/stage presence, the banger opener DJ's, and the amount of people that will be there, it's bound to be a sick show.
Anyone know how long they usually play for? I'm hoping for like a 4 hour set.
Yeah Toronto has back to back shows next weekend. I am actually in the process of trying to swap my ticket from night to night with all these kijiji noobs and its such a hassle.
They played 2 hours in Denmark, the majority of their sets for One Last Tour are all the same. But since they took a little break over the holidays they could've very well switched it up. Either way you're in for a treat. Enjoy my brother!
Gonna defintely be chillin with molly the entire show and sneaking in a good-sized flask of SoCo 100 proof. Also got a baller hotel room about 500 yards away from the venue so itll be dope. Can't wait to get back to Tahoe and be broke after this one.
god damn! every single friend I have that is seeing them in LA is going on the 9th except my girl and I. As the date gets closer I'm going to attempt to swap for the 9th on the off chance somebody needs to go on the 8th instead at the last minute.
im not there, cant afford to pay $150 for that + i have a lot of school work to do. all my friends are going to the show tomorrow and ill be sitting at home writing an essay LOL.
pic is from Twitter, tomorrow is going to be the same if not bigger
I'm not sure if they do the same sets from show to show, but they weren't just playing the exact songs from the album, they mixed it up. The opened with an extremely sick remix of greyhound.
well I be like fucks electro music, a lot of people from my city went to the toronto show and it looked crazy. would be shitty if you weren't on the floor though.
That looks like it would be terrible being that far away. I lost all my friends but one girl and we managed to squeeze our way to being 5 people away from the very front of the floor. It was absolutely insane that close up.
everyone bitches about how bad dubstep and house is but everyone loves shm? ns is fucking weird. i'm yet to hear a song by them that i would actually listen to on my own free time
Because you will be on awesome drugs surrounded by 40,000 people (20,000 of which are attractive females) that are on the same awesome drugs as you are. It's not so much about the music (although liking it is a big plus), but more about the atmosphere. When the confetti and giant balloons started falling down on me, the only thing I was thinking about was how alive yet surreal everything around me felt. I was just staring up at the ceiling watching everything float down on me while I embraced it all.
he doesn't mean everyone is talking. the music they play live is also quite different. i find that a lot of artists play darker and more industrial (not really but i can't think of a better term) sounding music. less singing and more sick drops.
for anybody going to masquerade motel in LA, are you supposed to wear a mask? there's a lot of stuff that implies people wear masks but i can't find anything either way. i saw some threads on other sites from old masquerade motel events saying people were supposed to wear masks, which would blow.
