I've done a lot of winter camping. In general it sucks and is simply a means to an end. It is suuuuper hard to motivate in the mornings and get out of one's sleeping bag. Too cold to read at night, or do anything other than sleep. Sleeping is uncomfortable as well. If you're going to do it, here is what I recommend:
Skip the 4-season tent. You're not going up Denali or planning a trip to the Himalaya. Get any regular cheapo 3-season tent. This will save you many hundreds of dollars.
Buy a WARM sleeping bag. I have a -40F down bag and can still get cold.
Buy a sleeping bag liner, fleece or silk. This will help with the condensation and sweating, and keep you more comfortable overall.
You will need some type of sleeping pad, whether a Thermarest or foam. This keeps you off the ground and helps insulate.
If you're camping you will need to sleep with a water bottle in your sleeping bag if you want to have drinkable water in the morning. Otherwise it will freeze.
Are you looking at this as far as backpacking or car camping? Things change a lot depending.
You're asking me to get naked? On our first message exchange?
OK, seriously. I sleep in long underwear, top and bottom. A beanie is a must as well. Most of my winter camping has been backpacking. It's heavier and bulkier than spring or summer backpacking for sure. I'm not exactly a stocky or fat dude, so I get cold easily. If you have a little extra blubber on you I hear it makes a huge difference. Buy any random tent that works for backpacking and go with that. You want light - light is right. Make sure it doesn't just have mesh walls though, even with a fly. You want/need protection from the wind.
I was out three weeks ago in the snow, at about 4,500 elevation. It got down around 0F at night. I didn't have my -40 bag, but did have a decent bag and a mummy bag. I was damned cold. While it may never get to -40 where you go (unless you go up Mt. Washington), a -40 bag doesn't mean you're going to be hot. Sure, if it is 30F you are going to sweat, but anywhere under that I think you will be glad to have the warmth + a liner.
