2013 Volkl Walls

Well this wasnt getting very much attention in gear talk, so i figured I would try to post it in here.

So I won some 2013 Volkl Walls this past weekend, and Im not sure yet if I want to keep them or try to sell them and get something different.. Does anyone on here ride these or have experience with them? How do they hold up in the park? How durable are they?
I ride about 90% park and i would say about 50/50 jumps to rails.

Ive read that the bases are kind of soft, but im not sure thats true with the 2013s..
Any input you guys have would be greatly appreciated!

I dont have any experience but I just wanted to shout out to Flagstaff! Congrats on the win. I was in the 13-17 agegroup

I've heard that these are solid all around. Great for park especially. Definitely give them a shot.

I had alleys last year, have ledges this year. Really enjoyed both. The wall is the next one up the line, so I would think they would b great. Although I havent personally riden on them, I would definitely say to give them a shot.

The biggest problem I have seen from walls is delaming in the tips and tails. I'd keep them unless you need new boots or pow skis.

im definatley getting new skis no matter what, but these are the 177s.. I'm 6'1.. so I kinda wish they were a little bigger.

OP if they too small or u dont like the size sell them. Or use them for urban/playing around/learning new tricks. After using heavy skiis, light skiis help progress

177 will be a fun park ski, maybe not the best for jumps since you think they may be a little short.

the walls rock, incredibly poppy and maintain their energy through a couple seasons. there is a reason volkl skis are more expensive, they use better materials and the manufacturing process is more expensive.


either way will work, but you won't regret keeping them.

Volkl Wall is a dope ski. I'd keep em for myself if I won them.

love my 2012 walls. pretty stiff ski but real snappy and tons of pop. if there was a word to describe them would be powerful
