I know there are a million threads on mounting but this is in regards to the k2 press specifically. I had heard that the k2 press cannot be mounted dead center due to the rocker, and that you would be riding too far up on the nose and it wouldnt be flat under foot. Is this true? i find it hard to believe but any answers are greatly appreciated
mount it where ever you want. correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure the rocker on the press is symmetrical but the sidecut isn't. i mounted my chronics dead center and they aren't symmetrical. its really just personal preference.
this. But rocker does play a role in mounting. Mount to far forward on a rockered ski and you'll be mounted in the rocker profile and not getting all you can out of the ski. k2 and every company puts those lines there for a reason, boot center, freestyle etc. Use them. If your not sure where to mount, do what k2 tells you to do.
