How many people do you think know about Steve? Is the amount that he gets "paid" (or if he even gets money from sponsors) fair compared to his fame? Im under the impression that his fame/skill/influance is overlooked greatly by his sponsors. Steve has met/coached so many kids, been in so many edits and is very well know. I feel like he is a classic example of a skier that sells product but not given much by his sponsors. Thoughts?

Yeah I agree. There is no one out there like black Steve. He did kinda team up with line in the new model for there skis. On the bottom of line skies. It says "future spins" or along those lines. I think he should definitely get a lot more credit

See me trolling was the most funny things i have seen in skiing in a long, long time. Well maybe the Colby, Wells thing but that was more funny like "haha this is dumb as shit". In that note maybe get a freestyle battle going?

It's simple, really. They're trying to protect him from himself.
They realize that all the money they give him will go to feed his Kratom addiction. So, like the responsible citizens they are, they try to only give him boots, skis, and buy him a sandwich now and then. So really, by not paying him much, they're looking out for him.

Thanks Andy. My main goal with this web series is to open up the ski industry to criticism. There's been talk for countless years about the problems and qualms with our sport, and im hoping by making these videos people in the industry can understand that skiing isnt (and shouldnt be) as serious as everyone makes it out to be. I think thats why kids love traveling circus so much.
