awww shit. absinthe fucking rocks. i went to spain earlier this summer and they had it at a bar, so i ordered a bunch of shots. tastes like black licorice, but fucks you up. a few shots and not only was i plowed, but you also get a body high similar to shrooms. If you make it yourself, you can make it strong as hell, which makes it more psychadelic. pretty gnarly shit.

Absinthe... I had a run in with the stuff in the Phillipines. Very potent stuff, I've never felt so drunk in my life after downing half a bottle of that stuff, but I couldn't stop it tasted so good. You seriously can't make the stuff yourself, it's not the same trust me. But the net is full of places you can order it from so it's not to hard to get it in the states. I guess there's a special way to prepare it, but I didn't have the patience or the required elements so...

Absinthe is only done right with the right spoon and some sugar. And Friesz, half a bottle? you sure that was absinthe? They have a lot of exotic narcotic alcohols in southeast asia (including this one I tried that tasted of coconut milk and froze my mouth completely for hours, it was excellent). You might have had something else... half a bottle of absinthe would not be something you'd remain even slightly coherent through (If you lived, which isn't a given).

If it was proper Absinthe, which is usually around 80% then you could not have drunk half a bottle. You would be completley comatosed of not dead. Fuck building up alcohol tolerance, your liver would not be able to handle it even if you'd been drinking for years. Absinthe is the shit.

well there are different types of absinth ... some have a lower % than others ... i've seen bottles with 40%, so its quite possible that he drunk half a bottle ... the real stuff however is around 80%.
