So i remounted an old pair of park skis with same bindings in same holes, and they did fine for about a month but yesterday the toe piece completely ripped out and the holes are stripped. This aren't my main skis so i really don't care for them and im gonna try to fix them somehow and im thinking of a couple of options: 1) buy larger screws that will fit in the old holes that were stripped 2) drill new holes for only the toe piece 1 cm back from the originals and then slide the heel piece back (i already tested to see if the boot would fit and it did), and then just ride that ski mounted 1 cm back without changing the other ski. If i did this would my skiing be greatly affected by riding one ski 1 cm farther back than the other? 3) remount both skis 1 cm back and just fill in the old holes
Which option is best? I would prefer not doing option 3 but i would if i absolutely had to... again i dont care for these skis i just like them because i can beat them up on rails and shit without worrying (my other skis are K2 Kung Fujas so i want to use them for all mtn and pow)
