What's the best park in Michigan?

All the parks I have been to up north, Crystal Mountain, Caberfae, Boyne all suck, and I'd rather shred my home hill Timber Ridge anyday. I heard Nubs nob is pretty good. For you people that have been to a lot of places, what is your top 5 parks in Michigan. I have been to shanty creek a few times when I was younger, and I remember their park being sick, not sure if that's still true.

Anyway, my top 5.

1. Timber Ridge
2. Bittersweet
3. Shanty Creek
4. Cannonsburg
5. Boyne

I have only been to two of them.
1. Alpine Valley
2. Swiss Valley

Both are just OK but were very close to where i lived.

I would say that nubs undoubtedly has the best park setup right now. After that I would say c-burg and then boyne

Best Park for rails and jibs:

1. Cannonsburg
2. Nubs
3. Bittersweet

Best for flow and number of features to hit in a row:

1. Nubs/Cannonsburg
2. Bittersweet/TR

Best Jumps:

1. Timber Ridge (1 big jump that is double-able) High speed rope to get over 45 hits and hour!!!
2. Nubs and Bittersweet both have solid jumps
3. Cannonsburg-Heard they re-did their jump line so should be solid anyways

Best over all

1. Canonsburg: hot laps, endless features, always mantained
2. Nubs: jump line, rail line, not crazy busy
3. Bittersweet/Timber Ridge both are making solid progress and in the right direction....both have unique assets...BS-Highspeed quad...TR:hot laps on the jumps

Stoked on all these resorts that are pushing Michigan Skiing...Those are the ones i've been to so I cant speak if there is anything better

at Cannonsburg we redid our jump line Monday night/Tuesday morning. Going to do some hand work on the lips to get the hang time dialed in.

I've only been to Cannonsburg once, and that was early this year and the only had 1 1/2 parks open. (Took tons of features out because of warm up) They had the rollers down, but no jumps. I'll cruise up there again in a week or 2 and check it out.

I'm just used to Timber Ridge's awesome jumps, so of course Cburg's jump will feel kind of tiny.


When Cburg is fully open though it sounds pretty epic, because I saw tons of cool features laying out. I'll forsure try it out again.

No.

PK is good for SE michigan, but it doesnt compare to Cburg or Nubs. OP, if you want to jib for hours with hot laps, Cburg is the way to go.

Your jumpline was $$$$ yesterday, best flow all around of any park i have ever been too. I think C-burg > o park at its best. Unfortunatley hurt myself pretty good at around noon and basically ruined the rest of my day there, i will be back!

I was just at nubs and their park was super fun. Jumps were poppy as fuck and super sick. Park is quite empty on most days. I was shredding it on presidents day weekend and had no wait at all. I would say Nubs has easily one of the best parks in michigan.

In what was supposed to be 5 inches at crystal, turned into the deepest day ive ridden in michigan. No joke. Some knee keep on drifts, and about a foot deep everywhere else. So much fucking fun, especially on my jeffreys

Haha it's my birthday next weekend so we planned on going that day and I'm not sure you would want to film me haha I'm a snowboarder an I wouldn't say I'm the best on the mountain haha

Stoked on all the Cburg love! Hope to see everyone out and about there soon! Ive spent this winter shut inside of a cat there basically the whole season. Actually gonna take a little up north tour this coming week, hitting up boyne, treetops, otsego, and shanty. IF any of you guys shred there hit me up!

Just wondering.... Has anybody been to Otsego Club this year? I remember going there pretty early in the season a couple years ago for college races and the park was groomed to perfection and everything was super fun. I know it a private club and you have to be a member to get in. But I think it's open to the public on Friday nights. Other than Marquette this is prolly the best park I've ever seen in the mitten. Except or that super super super slow lift on the front side of the hill.

Otsego is NON-public again this year, and only open on the weekends.

I got a buddy who is a member there. He said there IS a park, but its trash compared to what it used to be.


I cant say i didnt see this happening. Private resort that is dropping mad $ into a park and pipe? No thanks.
