IPad Stolen

So I went up to my home mountain today for our park jam today, when I was fully finished I went down to leave. As I was packing up I realized my ipad and 2 Gatorades were gone. I thought maybe my friend/parent had took it but nobody did. It really sucks because well the ipad is worth $500 plus and I can't even be stoked about what I did today

So, what could I do, any help and advice as to what I should do is really appreciated. thanks

A guy a work lost his iPhone. You can lock them and send a message saying you know they have it. It tells you if they've read the message. Also shows the last place it was online. Found his iPhone that got stolen at a party within a day.

Just take a picture of the cop car when it pulls up outside your house (with someway of proving its your picture) and then post a picture of said ipad with a way of proving its you.

He wiped your ipad, obviously enjoys stealing things from people at ski mountains. This means he probably has stolen skis, goggles, cell phones, and other stuff from peoples bags before. This time he just got caught.

This is your iPad, not your parents. You just got lucky with that app and being able to recover it. Its not like he had any intent of using it a few times and then giving it back.
And who gives a shit where he lives. Its not like he was planning on feeding himself and his family with his new fancy iPad at the age of 16.

I would if I could, the case is already closed and my dad wouldn't let me, sorry, I really wanted to also, he's a lucky douche bag that stole something worth $600 and got away with it, trust me if it was up to me I would've gone through with it

double post but, I feel like he's just going to brag about stealing an ipad and getting away with it, and it sucks, if I had pressed charges he wouldn't have been laughing.

but at least he was honest, he admitted to everything and was scared shittless, I just hope he learns and realizes next time it won't be a warning

any ways, I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter the age, if the crime happened to you, you decide whether or not to press charges, My parents know more about the law than me so I obviously went with their choice.

And why do I give a shit, I have no clue why anyone would think this is fake, I'm not going to waste my time for something that doesn't matter and already happened

i never said it's ok to steal, but i am happy it happened to the op because i don't like him. he's sent me about 6 pm's saying your a little bitch here's my address come find me pussy. then this happens yeah it's funny to me. also its the op's fault im I saying to kid who took it was right no, but you don't leave a cell phone mac book or ipad unattended in a public place. that's like me leaving an expensive car in a poor neighborhood unlocked. well the door was closed so people should have known not to go in it. when I was in about 6th grade, I left a skateboard outside of a target when I wanted to go buy a water. when I came out it was gone I learn from experience never ever leave anything unattended in a public place ever.
