Replying to Knee injury and skiing
so today i hit a jump, landed kinda backseat, and did something when i fell and tweaked me knee. unfortunately my school health center is closed on weekends, so i cant go get it checked out now, but i went to ski patrol after and they said it felt stable and if i was able to get to the bottom of the run it probably wasnt too bad. i didnt really hear a pop that is common with the acl (if it did it was silent enough that i didnt hear it over me sliding on my side), and i can still put a lot of weight on it (did a few one leg squats to check and it was possible).
so my question, would it be a bad idea to film this weekend, assuming it feels alright when i wake up. obviously im gonna take a few weeks off hitting features but would following people through the park be a bad idea? i would wear a knee brace and keep it mellow and somewhat slow.
also would going to the gym and biking tonight be a bad idea. i've heard that its important to build muscle after something like this, so low impact biking seems like it would be a good thing to strengthen the muscles in my knee
sorry for the potentially stupid questions. i've never had a knee injury and with other injuries i would just keep it mellow for a few days, but i know how bad this can be so i want to get an opinion on this and not do any harm to it
