remember when follow cams used to be the coolest thing to have in an edit? with all of the go pros and contours and what not, i feel like a true follow cam is something we don't see anymore
so you mean true follows. it's harder to get a good shot since you're pretty much guessing and spend more time worried about not eating shit and breaking your camera. or so i've been led to believe
I'd like to see way more follow cams off jumps. I love that angle and I agree with OP, too many edits now are just using an angle from the lip. I've been trying to do some follows off Whistler's Blackpark line and they're turned out pretty well.
Following beside the jump is ok but it doesn't give the same feel like you're right there as an off the jump follow.
