My boots smell really wierd?

whats a good way to get rid of stinky ski boot odor? i have tried putting dryer sheets in them and letting them dry but the still smell bad. my feet get really sweaty when i ski. also my socks smell like sweaty cheese after skiing same with the boots.

the dishwasher gets too hot, just put your liners in a washing machine on the delicate cycle and then let them air dry, I wash mine all the time

1) Take out your liners and put them in the freezer overnight. This will probably kill a lot of the bacteria.

2) Fabreeze is crap, it's just a scent. Try Lysol. That actually kills things.

3) Scent it with Fabreeze after the Lysol to help.



Try those. That should help. Remember, the smell is caused by organic organisms living off the chemicals released from your feet. Kill dat shit.

didn't read thread but

febreze/disinfectant stuff/foot and shoe powder/gold bond i feel are your best bets. and obviously let them have some fresh air and dry thoroughly

Washowuse wool ski socks


They have to have silver bits ( as in real silver, not the colour) because it reaaaally helps with odors. More $$ but at the end of the day if you can use the same pair of socks twice in a row without throwing up, your gain I guess. Save some money on washing

I found mold in my boots this spring after using them for 3 years. Basement smelled awful.
