Question is the title -- how do you guys deal with injuries that force you to end your *CURRENT* day on the slopes but not your season or anything.. I find myself now routinely skiing until I hurt myself good enough to end my day (and usually, keeps me off the mountain for 1-2 weeks at a time).
2 weeks ago I fucked my knees up with an MCL sprain and bone bruise. Today I think I sprained/bruised my AC joint in my shoulder trying a nose butter 3 but caught me edges and landed on the knuckle right on my shoulder/AC joint.
Do a lot of you guys get bad bruises/sprains that keep you out for days at a time? I can't imagine how some of you guys get 40, 60, 80+ days in the park every year. My goal is to get 15-20 days this year but I will probably top out at 10-12 days. I think since I know I won't get that many days I push myself harder and it ends up getting me injured and having to take a week or two off at a time.
Luckily no season ending injuries yet but damn I am really giving my body a beating this season.
