Personally I am always super stoked on this. Its actually my favorite skiing competition of the year. They also changed up the format and now the top 10 finalists all get an invite to the Sun Valley park shoot in april. Over the week level 1 will drop updates, and then will create a segment for the new movie. I think that this change in format is a great idea, and hopefully will help draw great talent and seperate the boys from the men.

I predict some entries from Hood Crew and Toy Soldiers, but I think the winner will be an unknown who really needs the exposure and $$$.



Anyone want to share some stoke? Predictions? Any idea who is putting out an entry?

These edoggo guys are stupid smooth and Laporte went ham. And I really hope Brock Paddock, Finn Anderson, or some other TSP guys made edits and got in.

My opinion obviously but I didn't think Anton was impressive enough to beat some of semi-finalists. Still pretty sick though and this Dom kid is fucking killing it

anton was better than dom dom had a lot of similar tricks. they were insane but kinda repetitive. antons switch cork 9 opp safety was so nice

Well, They have taken Dom and Hugo, who are essentially the same skier, and the two edoggo kids who are essentially the same skier. Seems like a waste of spots. Pick one of the two and give your self some diversity. Glad I wasnt wrong in my personal opinion that I was gonna be mad about finalists. if by the same person you mean from the same area of the same country and ski together you're correct, however essentially the same person is a stretch, especially in the case of dom and huge, I wonder what you would be saying if briggs and bulzan had made finals probably not they're essentially the same person.

almost every time dom landed his feet were 3ft apart, pizza pieing in some direction, bent over, arms flailing, but people have been riding his D for a page now. but i guess its "stomped" bc he forces into 2008 afterbang mode 0.5sec after.

everyone's got a different style and the feature makes a difference, but landing in a carve takes way more control than not, period

I have to say, Dom's was very good. Did it deserve to be a finalist? Yes. Are people over-hyping him? In my opinion, yes. I realize he was slaying crazy urban but I didn't think it was SUPER AMAZING like everybody else did. I personally think that Alex Dorszynski's was really overlooked.
