Personally I am always super stoked on this. Its actually my favorite skiing competition of the year. They also changed up the format and now the top 10 finalists all get an invite to the Sun Valley park shoot in april. Over the week level 1 will drop updates, and then will create a segment for the new movie. I think that this change in format is a great idea, and hopefully will help draw great talent and seperate the boys from the men.

I predict some entries from Hood Crew and Toy Soldiers, but I think the winner will be an unknown who really needs the exposure and $$$.



Anyone want to share some stoke? Predictions? Any idea who is putting out an entry?

is he the same guy as Anton Jansson? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but theres a bunch of guys that go by multiple first names and its a bit confusing. Anyway, I know Anton Jansson made an edit this year, and i was a big fan of his entry from last year, so I really hope he made the finals

I fucking love this contest and its so much more then the "winner" . Everyone fucking wins, appreciates amazing edits, and gets much needed exposure ! Congrats to all the entries, past, present and future !

Jakob Lundberg is sick as fuck. Im gonna get hated on for this though, but I personally thought hugo pelletiers left foot forward frontside huckfest off of every rail was worthy of nothing. Blegh, saw him doing that at rails to riches like 3 years ago and I even thought it was whack back then.

Although i thought Jakob's edit was super sick and he honestly has some of the cleanest style I've seen ever I can't get behind a finalist that skis 100% park. Hugo had a good mix of park shots and urban as well that's what made it sick. I understand that some people don't get invited to private park shoots and they have to deal with what's available to them but damn get out in the streets a little bit people. In this day in age I don't think anyone should be a superunknown finalist that can't show a good mix of park and urban and maybe even some sick pow shots, isnt that what Level 1 is all about anyways.

that euro is the new brogan, all i thought was holy fucking swag fest. Hugo's was fucked too had to rewatch the opening 30 seconds a grip of times. NO HATE HERE. crazy how all these people could hate, its not american idol doooood
