I am looking at getting my first pair of skis with any rocker at all. I need a new all mountain and i really like the durability if the on3p Jeronimo so Im pretty set on getting those. My question is should i get 171 or 176. Im 5'7 and about 135. I have 171s right now and i like the length but wouldnt go any longer. With the rocker in these should i step up to a 176? They will be center mounts. any help or even suggestions of other all mountain mid fat rockered skis would be fantastic thanks guys.
the rocker leaves you to have less contact with the snow because of its "early rise" opposed to a regular tapered rocker. thus having less contact with a rocker than you would with a regular rockered ski you go bigger.
If it's between the two, 176 for sure. I've mounted my Caylors and Jeffreys at recommended and they work for me, but you are better off getting that advice from the skiers on JMOs.
I would agree with the rest of guys on here.. longer the better, the 5cm wont effect your skiing negatively but largely positively.
as for saying throw in other mid fat all mtn skis, I rock this years fujas as my one ski quiver because I cant afford more skis. and I got them for a great deal too, love em
