Replying to POC Spine Ergo BUG vs SCOTT X-Active Back Protector

I am looking to Buy one of these too back protectors and I was just wondering if anyone had one of them and they could tell me a little about it. I have tried on the Scott X-Active and the plastic feels a little soft and flexible. I am not so sure about buying this one because if i take a fall to the back I am afraid it will not protect me enough. I am unable to try on the POC Spine because there is no one who sells it in my town. So if anyone could give me some good advice on them it would be greatly appreciated.
