Alright Newschoolers,
So I collegiately race (SL and GS) and this upcoming weekend will be my last (in division) race aka my senior run. Everyone does something cool/funny and I'm coming up blank. In previous years people have tandem skied, switched outfits, worn beer boxes, etc.
Another wrench, my best friend goes to one of the other colleges and wants to do our runs together, but she boards and I ski aka death if we try to ride together.
Also the forecast says sunny and 27 degrees and the run will take a whole 30 seconds (Ohio).

So any ideas NS?

I was thinking my gold spandex and this leather american flag jacket I have, but was shot down for being boring.

And if you guys give some good ideas I may or may not have a video of said best friend and I making out in the K-1 gondola for GNAR points ;)

put on your tallest gear and smallest poles or no poles and do the whole race switch

put on your smallest gear and do the whole race sitting on the tails of your skis

straight line the entire course while taking off various articles of clothing

mount two pairs of bindings on your skis and go tandem in that sense

carry someone on your back?

learn how to do ninjaflips and do one through the starting gate

coordinate with a friend and have him or her wait halfway through the course, race till you reach them then hand him or her your poles and have them complete the race

halfway through the race just leave the course without saying a word

see how long you can wait at the top of the course before they get mad at you for not going

do the race with your goggles on backwards like edollo and continually shout things in a terrible accent/make barking noises

do the race while eating a sandwich or drinking something

do the race while texting

stop mid race, text someone, put phone away, and continue onwards




of course all of those would make your times terrible.... not sure if you still want to go for a good time haha

The times won't matter, they give us another run after the official times and all the underclassmen go to the bottom of the run.

or have a friend ready in a car by the bottom of the mountain and do the race and just go straight to the car and jump in and drive away

Yah for sure!

Call your mom as you are dropping in. I would assume you are not comfortable getting nude so thats not an option. Get your hands on a 40 of jack and just chug as you are going down.

In true McConkey fasion find some blades and a saucer, shred the course on blades and then bust out the saucer for the finish line.

do you're run dressed like a gaper and act like you don't know how to ski, then get some huge air, and yardsale and penguin slide the rest of the run to the bottom.


or just wear a big banana costume or penguin costume and slide down the run on your stomach

In the gate, be all serious and getting pumped up and stuff, push out of the gate super hard then pizza the enitre way down in a crouched position with your poles up and hit every flag or maybe even miss acouple. Miss one gate completly on purpose then stop, take your skis off, hike up the hill, and go through the gate again.

wear a turtle costume and ski the course absurdly slow and in the middle take a 5 minute break then take off your skis and crawl down the rest of the way.

Acquire a sled and find some fireworks. Tie the sled around your waist and have someone light the fireworks before you start your run. Make sure they're pointed at an angle away from you so you don't get lit on fire. Disclaimer *not my fault if you die*

I would like to thank everyone for their creativity.
Unfortunately someone was saucer boy last year and I already wore a pink onesie and snowblades last saturday so that one is out of the books.

On the plus side, I've found my costume:
Gold spandex, black unitard, gold cape, black zorro mask, bottle of goldschlager, and roman candles.
-Also if anyone knows how to attach fireworks that won't light me on fire to the tails of my skis to make them look like rockets, that'd be fucking awesome.

Now lets hope I don't get kicked out/arrested for setting off fireworks :)

I think it was done frame by frame on an etch-a-sketch. and i know filmer was a girl, because no guy would look over at his friend to see what his reaction is while two girls are making out.
