Samsung vs Sony. Samsung vs apple

What to you guys think of the projected future dominance in the electronics industry. For a while now they have been eating sonys lunch with better TVA etc. I have been bullish on Samsung vs apple for a while and apple has been eating shit lately compared to Samsung. Samsung is proving to be a very close competitor to apple with its galaxy tablets and phones, both of which are often considered better than apples counterpart.
Anybody have any thoughts on samsungs current and future dominance.

Btw I'm not biased. I'm writing this on a 4s

I bought a samsung laptop last year. I love it. it had better specs then a macbook (besides graphics but im ok with that) and mine was $1200. i havent had a problem with it at all. absolutely love it.

I wanted the Apple Iphone5 for what seems like forever, but now i,m starting to look more favorable to the Samsung Galaxy S3. I may be very close to buying the S3 within the next week and i believe a lot of other consumers are starting to think similar to me in that they are moving from Apple products to Samsung products.

Yeah apple is in trouble IMO. They have had a dynasty for the better part of a decade but Samsung has a bunch of geniuses in their engineering dept that will match apple or Sony blow for blow. Doesn't hurt that s Koreans are tied for the highest iq in the world with Japan and Germany. It would be interesting if Samsung tried its hand at a gaming console. I bet it would rock

whowever google chooses to make nexus devices with will sell well. nexus 4 by LG has been sold out within a day and asus's nexus 7 is rated one of the best tablets of 2012. now that google owns motorola, i look forward to motorola's nexus, phone, it's gonna be boss. ive always liked moto's design style.

This I think Samsung and Apple are more of an all around company. Make great computers and phones and tv's. But Sony makes pretty good stuff.

Its just that you dont buy samsung or sony to own a name and therefore giving apple the right the jack their prices out the roof. You buy apple to buy apple, not its features or because its a financially good deal (which it is far from)

i like Sony because my Playstation still works and it's almost 20 years old. my PS2 still works. my PS3 still works. they don't charge me $60 a year to play video games. my $60 Sony headphones sound like $150 Sennheisers. my Walkman mp3 player has a proper soundcard (not as good as some, Creative specifically, but Creative's break). i like the build quality of their products and the way they run their business. i have never felt cheated by them.
i can't say much for Samsung except that i'm looking at buying one of their phones (s3). i currently own a Blackberry, so it's a step up.
i don't use Apple products. why would i pay twice the price for a product that lasts half as long and doesn't do most of the shit i need it to because they get into fights with other brands and use closed-source software? i don't even factor into their target market, they have yet to build anything i would even consider buying. their business model works for them because their target market (the average consumer) doesn't give a shit, their iPod breaks, they buy a new one, their Macbook breaks, they buy a new one. LG makes products that break too (my phone, my fridge (which almost lit my house on fire), my microwave), so I stopped buying them.

Just wait my son. The stock market is a discounting mechanism. That is a sting sign that there is trouble ahead. You don't just drop 250 points when google and Samsung hold still and have it not mean anything

Also apple has had an edge on function ability combined with sleekness for the past few years. You are starting to see Samsung copying that niche to perfection and doing it better

my friend always yells at his iphone 5. I never yell at my sg3 and rarely have problems with it (usually fix quick). I'm also usually the first person to chuck their phone at a wall, in the air, across rooms, slam into counters. I really do miss the durability of blackberrys, i seriously owe my old one an apology

i despise apple as a company but their products are good, obvi their marketing is the best.

samsung makes good products, as does sony. the xperia z is beautiful, but apple just has their name and people love that. applecare is pretty decent as well.

im just happy samsung is starting to attack apple with their ad campaigns. its showing the world that there are phones besides iphones that are highly capable. i bought a samsung series 9 lappy in the summer and i adore it.

Apple is not in danger of going out of business but they will be out competed if Samsung comes out with something that is clearly better and clearly superior to apples product

apple will continue to thrive based solely on how their product feels. i've never held a phone or used a computer that felt better than an apple product. and that's all the general public gives a shit about. aesthetics are the selling point and goddamn does apple nail aesthetics.

Sony makes shitty products that always break, I've had a LOT of sony product in my house and every single one them broke within a year. I now will never buy again from them.

I'm a galaxy s3 user and couldn't be more pleased. My mom and dad have iphone (4s and 5) and I just hate how apple gives no freedom around the platform.. compared to the android. (had three droids before, 2 HTC and Galaxy S)

A) what does it matter whether you buy 2 or 200 stocks?

B) people who only have 1000$ to risk in the stock market (not 1k overall). if you get a somehow cheap transaction deal, it might not be that bad.

I think sony is alright. They make some good products (Ps3is infinitely better than xbox imo) but their computers are overpriced. Apple is okay. Not a fan of their computers or phones operating systems, but apple knows how to make beautiful products with great build quality, and i wish pc laptop manufacturers would take notes. Samsung on the other hand is my favorite company out there. Great products at a great price. Love my S3

Apples time is coming to an end. Eventually some company that makes computers as well if not better than Apple are going to make ways you can actually fix the product when it brakes unlike my shitty iPod.

Lol at people saying apple is in trouble, Iphones and MBPs are so popular they are no where near trouble, oh and their stock? Its done it before and rebounded, I wouldnt be so worried.

Samsung products are much more powerful then apple products (I own a Note II and had an SIII before) but apple makes a better looking product that just works better. I love my MBP and dont think I'll ever go back to windows

No, not really. Samsung, or Samsung Electronics that you're most likely talking about, is a subsidiary of Samsung Group, which is far bigger than Apple.
