you had some really strange contrast thing going on, it was almost too gray sometimes, maybe underexposed

there were white balance changes which caused one shot to look blue then the next to look yellow

definitely wasn't bad, editing was good

the first kink would have been pretty sick had they hit the full rail

I'm not really sure why there is a letterbox on the video. I'm guessing you exported at that size. Not a big deal but I think it would look better without it there.

Thanks man! yah i tried to achieve a sort of older film look, not sure if i got it but yah! I really like the crop marks but I edit them in and so i dont plan ahead when i film so I should probably frame my shots accordingly. Everyone seems to frown upon the crop marks but find them very appealing for some reason! The big ass kink rail was a little much for our skiing ability hahaha, but yes that would be so sick, some day!

for sure

as far "crop marks" go, the reason why they are frowned upon is because people don't understand and appreciate the artistic value that goes along with shooting with an anamorphic lens. its simple to just throw black bars on a 16x9 video, but shooting with the actual crop or crop in mind is a different story

I didn't think that contrast was bad at all. It gave it a pretty good look IMO. It sorta looked along the lines of some of the Stept shots.
