I don't know how many other newschoolers also happen to be programmers, but... Jeff Atwood, who's a reasonably well known dude in the software developer community just revealed his latest venture. He's building forum software that doesn't suck. Newschoolers is dope, no doubt, but phpbb and all its clones -- which I'd argue newschoolers is one of -- are pretty dated and lacking in features.
What do you guys think about porting things over to discourse?
