Home page broken??

my newsfeed wont pop up when i hit "continue as elmo." my browsers trys to load the page for a milli second and nothing comes up.

BUT

when i hit the link for the forums the page loads quickly and nothing is wrong.

this happen to anyone else? anyone have a solution or explaination.

I'm getting this

I can't seem to reproduce this error, can I please get more details from users having this issue? Please reply the following questions:

1. Do you have a saved view on the homepage (Eg: you clicked Save View at the top right after changing the view)
2. Were you logged in or not?
3. What browser were you using, and what was the exact error you received?

3. Chrome (24.0.1312.57 m), Windows Vista SP2. And the error I receive on https://www.newschoolers.com/home is: "HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request." And: "The website encountered an error while retrieving https://www.newschoolers.com/home. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly."

I have cleared my cache and cookies, yet the same error comes up.
