best summer job i had was building a solar farm. i had all my friends there and we got 12 dollars and hour which is good for highschoolers and we got to go cliff jumping errday

I worked at resident camps through high school and college. Pays well enough, was stuck on property except for weekends so I was able to save money. Other options: lifeguard, landscaping, parks and rec, etc.

I sell satellite tv door to door all summer and made 30k as a normal rep. now i manage an office and make bank in 4 months (may-august). I have sold alarms and pest control as well, door to door is a bitch but you get to travel all over the country with around 20 people and if you bust your ass you can make insane money in the summer. I moved to slc after college and ski every fucking day and get to live pretty cushy. living the dream

become a caddy man. it's fucking great. i've been doing it for 2 years and i've already made over 9 grand. and im only 16. so....that's a lot of money for a 16 year old.

in all seriousness, plant trees. You have to work your ass off all day, but it's actually fun sometimes. days off are sick, and the pay can be incredible

whichever job will pay you the most. unless it is extremely terrible work and a better option pays less, at this point just try to make as much money as possible in as little time as possible (the summer) and get some good ol work ethics while you're at it.

Trail crew, if they even still do that stuff anymore. You get to backpack around maintaining trails in the wilderness.
