Alright NS I need some input from the creative minds here on this site. I will be coming home after serving 2 years overseas in May. I have not seen my family in that amount of time, and they have no idea that I will be coming home. I want to make it a memorable experience for them. It will be caught on tape so I can upload for you all to see. The only person that knows I am coming home is my brother so he could help me with some aspect if called for. All that we know is that we don't want to make it a public appearance, so something that involves both my parents home and surprising them. One idea that we did have was I was going to drive down the driveway on a motorcycle in a gorilla costume, or sneaking around the house setting off firecrackers everywhere. I want them to get kinda freaked out a little and make it comical. But talking to my brother about this we can't really settle on an idea. So that is where I come to you NS for some helpful ideas. Also to make it interesting, the winning idea that I pick you will win some cool Air Force swag and prizes. To help weed out the troll ideas and get some solid ideas. Thanks for the help NS and hope to see some awesome ideas. peace.

since you are in the air force i say use your resources: A BLACK HAWK. land a black hawk in your cul de sac or where ever you live and hop out wearing a tank top some flip flops ripped camo shorts dog tags around neck, aviators and smoking a cigar with your gear bag over your shoulder, that would be so cool

and have your brother put a lot of fireworks behind some bushes so as you are walking to your driveway they go off, and while this is happenin have several A-10 warthogs do a fly by in a formation

Have your brother take your parents out. Then, go in and just start taking a bubble bath with all your clothes piled outside the bathroom so when they come home they just walk in on you. Maybe incorporate a horse mask into it.

So I leave tomorrow to head back home and finally surprise my family. My brother and I have a plan for my parents, and it will all be caught on tape. I will upload it when I get the chance for you all. Take care NS and thanks for all the great ideas.

Following on the scavenger hunt idea, if it's possible, send them on a scavenger hunt with your brother and then when they get the last clue, it'll lead them back to the house where you'll be standing at the front door in your uniform.
