First off: I tried looking for a similar thread but couldn't find one, so I apologize if this is a repost. If that's the case, it'd be dope if someone could link me to a good thread with good responses.
So my family (no one besides me is a serious skier) is going out to Vail in a couple weeks and will be skiing around the weekend of the 23rd/24th (not sure on the exact dates yet) and I need to know how the best way to ensure getting good skis to rent or demo, because my parents just don't have a clue and don't get the difference between types of skis. Luckily, they know that I know a lot more about skis than them so they want me to get the skis I want and are willing to take the steps necessary. We just don't know what those steps are so this is why I'm coming to you, NS...
I've been looking online and none of the shops that I've found give options for specific skis that you can rent... How do I go about ensuring that I can get a good pair of powder twins?
I'm really not too picky on which brand or model exactly. Will I be able to pick once I get to the shop? Will the good pairs "sell out" really quick?
Karma, gratitude, and good vibes to people with good responses!
